I'm Moving!!!

Well, I decided it was time to branch out a little and move forward with things! I'm so excited to announce that my blog will be moving to http://www.jenniferdworek.com/! In fact, it's already there. It just needs a little more things added to it but we are surely making progress. So thanks to everyone who has followed me this far on my incredible journey! I have been very busy lately gearing up for the holidays. Working on getting some last minute Christmas pictures done.
I not only decided on moving my blog but, I am also setting up a small studio space too! This is very exciting for me! It's all coming together slowly but surely! Please follow me over at my new blog!

Yeah! I Got Some New Toys!

I'm SOOO excited! I finally decided to learn flash lighting, otherwise known as strobe! I am taking a awesome workshop this coming weekend so I decided to get some gear to practice with. First, let me tell you about this awesome workshop! It's called Lighing Essentials and it is conducted nationwide by Don Giannatti! This will be my first prfessional workshop EVER! I can't wait to jump in and learn! It runs from Friday night to Sunday night. Nothin' but learning lights! So I will definately be letting you know how it goes next week. I also decided to join up with the Pro-Photographers over at PPA. Two big leaps for me. I am really excited about this. So here are a few pic of my niece (she was the only willing subject tonight) of some off camera strobe lighting. You can see the rest over on my Facebook page. Stay tuned.....

Erie Family Photos

Erie Art is Not Just For Galleries!

This is a rather unusual post from me but I wanted to kinda honor those unsung local Erie artists by featuring their work on my blog. I was tipped off about this place and had to check it out for myself. Amazing!!! I met up with some workers who frequent there. They told me that the murals change constantly. As you can see from some of the pictures there are many layers to these murals. I think they are pretty cool and the kids doing these should be recognized for their talent. I will be watching over the course of months to see how they change. Thanks for giving this art a place to live in Erie.....

Contagious Smiles

Hey everyone! I hope you are enjoying the changing of the leaves! I wanted to make you smile today by sharing with you the contagious smile Andrew gave today! He jump right up top of the hay bale and started to investigate the props! Indian Corn  and gourds are pretty darn cool to an 8 year old. Did you know that a gourd can also double as a gun! Me neither but Andrew thought of that. I just love to see a natural smile from children. It has a magical power behind it! Enjoy!
